Obviously you can see that I am a Capricorn, I was born on December 30, right before New Year's Eve. This interest is not something I allow to control my life, but I think the whole zodiac/astrological thing is interesting and even had the Cap's astrological sign tattooed on my left foot about 3 years ago.

Caps are known to be strong-willed, serious, organized, practical, hardworking, ambitious, anxious, possessed of wacky senses of humor, with a hidden passion and romanticism hidden deep inside themselves. For the most part this is true of me, but I wouldn't say it's entirely me. I think my Mom can vouch for the fact that I am very strong-willed. She always says that I was the hardest child for her to raise out of me and my 2 brothers because of my very strong-willed nature. If I had known then that it's all because I'm a Cap...(kidding Mom) then I could have blamed it on the zodiac and avoided all those spankings and groundings!

I can definitely be negative when the time is upon me, but for the most part I am a cheerful, happy person. I am ambitious, I would like to rise in the corporate ladder at my current company; but I have no plans of becoming CEO or anything powerful like that. Right now I'm a receptionist/admin assistant and that suits me just fine. It keeps me busy and I get to talk to a lot of people that way.

Practical and organized, that's me! Well, it's me everywhere but at home. At work my desk is organized and I take my duties seriously. At home though I like a more relaxed atmoshphere.

I would say the main Cap traits I do not exhibit are the materialistic signs. Although I like money and the things it can buy, I do not crave it or status or even power. I am quite content to have a happy life with my family and significant other without becoming rich and famous. The only things I can think of right now that I'd like money for would be to buy a new car (preferably a sporty Volvo C70) to replace my poor baby of a Ford Tempo that's slowly dying, a cute charming house somewhere in San Mateo or Foster City, and to pay off my student loans; not necessarily in that order. So maybe those money-hungry Cap traits got lost somewhere in the Philippines when I was born.

My boyfriend John is a Taurus, another Earth sign, so we have a great match. All the things I've read on this subject say that these 2 signs should have a harmonious, passionate relationship. This is very true.

So you could say that I'm a typical and untypical Goat. I get along well with other caps, Rodney and Ron on my Friends page are fellow goats. We are amazingly alike too!
